More specifically, she's humming a specific tune that she can't get out of her head. It's agonizing and one of the very few things that can cause the woman to feel helpless, for she was not blessed with the ability to fiddle with the inner workings of her mind.

Maybe if she was a songstress this was more bearable, but she was not very artistic either.

Fortunately, if there’s any distraction that can put her mind off an annoying song, then it’s a naked FERNANDO SILPH. Sure, there was a towel covering his best parts, but she’s imaginative enough to fill in the blank. Speaking of towels, she’s also draped in one too. It covers her body somewhat well enough that catching a glimpse of what’s underneath is not outright impossible, but would certainly require effort.

freya has smelled the others on his skin. she hasn't gone digging - doesn't know their relations to him in depth. it doesn't really matter to her. fernando trusts them and so she trusts them. she'll be there to step in the way of a backstab should he need it, but fernando's smart enough not to allow a snake in his midst. 

she wears a blue blouse herself. she doesn't care, nor does she welcome, the nakedness around her. instead, she sits beside the water, legs drawn, as fernando emerges and another passes through the door. 

her lips part. mmm, you are one of the women i've tasted upon him. 

"it is nice," she says with a tilt of her head.

Make yourselves at home he says when Razz feels anything but. Unlike FERNANDO SILPH and Katherine Fairburne, Razz actually has trunks on, not entirely comfortable with the whole naked aspect of this whole thing. Though he wished he did what the other girl did and just sat on the outside. Though he didn’t realize that was an option, he figured social norms made it so you had to participate. Not just sit on the side. [break][break]

”Umm… its alright?” he shrugs as he is currently only sitting with his legs dipped in. Avoiding a full gaze with his boss and Katherine seeing as they were completely naked outside their towels. So it seemed awkward. “So still trying to mix business with your vacation?” [break][break]

Because why else would the older man host a meeting here?

"Our?" the younger man repeats not entirely sure what he meant with it. Though he supposed if he knew that the ladies with them were also under Silph pay he might have made an easier connection. For now he just watches as Fernando opens a bottle before offering it to him. Something about some Kanto tradition which he has never heard of. But then again when he left Kanto he wasn't old enough for drinking. [break][break]

He moves to stand before taking the offered drink and taking a single sip from it. Razz doesn't know what the other's interest about getting him to drink but he's sure it'll eventually get his tolerance up. After he would offer the bottle to either lady who wished to drink next. [break][break]

"I have not, I've only heard of miss Katherine Fairburne," there was the time at the church but he feels that shouldn't be brought up. "Umm I'm Razz Kingsman by the way," he decides to introduce awkwardly after having looked back at Salem, "Uhh just a ranger for Mr. Silph."[break][break]

“Oh. No, we actually met once before. It’s nice seeing you again, Razz.” Sure, it happened during a chaotic dive into a titan’s tomb, but it still counted. They did meet in passing.

She has also heard enough about razz to recognize him without a proper introduction. Either way, she doesn’t seem so keen on elaborating when or how they met, instead preferring to let the ranger simmer this way. They met, he didn’t remember when or how, and it might have even insulted her.

Razz seemed like the type to get anxious over such a possibility.

“As Razz already said,” a smile tugs at her lips, her eyes flitting about until finally reaching freya morningstar. She is examined with a thorough glance, but not once as a potential contender for the grand prize Katherine was after. Then again, would she ever seriously consider someone to be equal to her?

Is she even remotely capable of granting someone the role of a competitor?

she touches her hand to the water, skimming over it with a featherlight touch of her fingers. molecules cling to her and she tilts her head at it, thinks of the blood that had slicked down her fingers after tasting fernando's corruption. his blood. this bath brings a shiver to her. 

she withdraws her hand as miss fairburne sizes her up. freya licks her lips and exposes her teeth in a garish grin. "freya morningstar. ex-council. fernando's dragon." she rolls her shoulders. "tamer, that is." 

she works to hide the envy in her voice. she knows not what hides within them, for the steam cloys her tongue, and fernando has been less lenient with his mists since their incident (and her hunger has become apparent), but she can taste their power thrumming in the air. 

in their midst, she is mortal - expendable, and easily overlooked. katherine's eyes tell her as much.

“Just twice in passing mostly,” Razz replies to Silph about how the other wasn’t surprised they knew one another. His annoyance with her has lessened some since those encounters as time seemed to do that. Giving the other a nod in greeting as she gives her welcome. Though if FERNANDO SILPH trusts her he could get along for now. It's not like he’s actually met many others employed by the man outside of the singular dispater there seemed to be in the Silph Office. [break][break]

Though when freya morningstar introduces herself as Fern’s ‘Dragon Tramer’ the innuendo of it all completely flies over head. “So you train his dragon pokemon then?” he questions as that's where his logic goes. Especially when the man mentions her being a formidable trainer.[break][break]

“So is this meeting about anything? Or just relaxing?”

Huh. What was she doing here then? “Don’t tell me you’re just collecting trainers like trading cards now,” an ode to the person Fernando used to be— or rather, look like. ”Just so you know, I will charge you ever ask me to babysit your ghosts”

A smile takes to Katherine’s lips at the sound of both Fernando and Razz’s words. It grows ever so slightly following the Ranger’s comment.

“Mm. Yeah. Twice in passing.” She repeats, her tone daring and her voice teasing. Their last encounter, in the tomb of the titan, wasn’t a meeting she’d describe with a smile on her face, but she finds amusement thinking about it now. She wasn’t as angry anymore. She held a slight grudge still, but nothing more than what she felt towards most people.

Instead of reaching for the bottle, a light gesture beckons it closer. Gravity is distorted as the bottle is pulled away from where Fernando had set it. Once it finally reaches her, she steals a sip.

“Razz is quite the formidable trainer too, you know? I’ve seen him in action myself.”

was. her lips curl. the comment is backhanded no matter his intent, but rage, when directed at the source of her addiction, is cooled, coaxed, and redirected at the two colleagues that join them. but all she can do is simmer to herself, fingers flexing, as katherine talks from her station above her. 

her fingers twitch. she thinks of claws and bloodshed, of slitting the woman's throat just to see how she bleeds. and then the sake falls through space itself, distorting and blipping into her hand, and her anger is wrapped in fear. 

"no, i'm his vassal," she says to razz and sidles next to katherine so that she might pluck the sake from her fingers. lips part, but not to taste the sake.

instead, she smells something faintly draconic thrumming from katherine's bodice. she grins devilishly, adds, "but there's no dragon i can't tame."

The question is asked with a raised eyebrow. The Morningstar’s claim is one that Katherine dismisses easily, but she finds it to be somewhat amusing all the same. Funny. Maybe she’d put her to the test one day.

“Well, I suppose taming them is easy but personally, I’d much rather keep an untamed Pokemon so their strength remains untouched.”

Giratina doesn’t come to mind, for it is neither a dragon or a beast. It is a god. But the creatures of Ultra Space, the beasts Katherine prided herself for collecting, had shown remarkable differences in strength. Those who’ve had the League’s antidote administered to them lost bits and pieces of their strength at the cost of growing fully tamed.

But the elusive ones, those who avoided the treatment, retained their strength in full.

The bottle is given to the dragon-tamer without resistance as Kat’s eyes drift towards Fernando.
